Emily Hogan Named Newest Associate at BCWH
BCWH is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Hogan to the position of Associate. As a licensed architect, Emily brings nearly eight years of experience in architectural and interior design to the work of the firm. After receiving a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia, Emily spent three years in Washington, D.C., focusing on residential and hospitality design until moving to Oregon where she spent time honing her skills on institutional and educational projects.
Since moving to Richmond and joining BCWH, Emily has served as Project Architect for clients including Roanoke College’s Fintel Library, Richmond’s First Unitarian Church, and one of Henrico County’s newest libraries at Libbie Mill, now under construction. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Richmond chapter, and recently completed a year with the Virginia Society AIA Emerging Leaders in Architecture program.
Emily is described by her coworkers as the firm cheerleader. She leads by example and always with a smile. Rob Comet, President, announced Emily’s appointment at an internal gathering and praised her enthusiasm and commitment to BCWH’s clients and the firm’s mission.
