Campus Improvement Plan

In 2001 we developed a Campus Improvement Plan that recommended a number of improvements for campus spaces, tree care and grounds maintenance procedures. W&L also called on us to carry out the renovation of four important outdoor spaces in the center of the historic Lexington, Virginia campus, including the area directly in front of the Student Commons.

Most recently, we completed a redesign of the President’s Garden, at the historic home of Robert E. Lee. The project includes a new brick terrace, large enough to accommodate a tent for entertaining, completely new plantings and a smaller terrace for serving and outdoor barbecues.
