Virginia Beach

24th Street Park

Occupying the last parcel of public open space along the oceanfront, the 24th Street Park is regarded as the centerpiece of Virginia Beach’s $46 million resort-area improvement program. Designed to complement the adjacent Lifesaving Museum of Virginia, it serves as a principal means of public beach access and is the site of many special events and nightly performances during the resort season. Winner of several design awards, the 24th Street Park has also become the focus of the City’s multimillion-dollar resort advertising campaign.
