The 1995 Campus Master Plan for Emory & Henry College, a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places, focused on design, maintenance and management strategies to preserve the school’s rural, historic character.
The Plan included over $1.5 million worth of new site projects for the campus. Completed projects include new entrance gates, site design for the new Science Center and central campus walkways. Part of the Plan was also a detailed tree assessment, which clearly pointed out the importance of tree conservation and replacement.
We are currently designing a memorial to honor famous alumni and to increase opportunities for alumni to return and engage with the campus community.
