Bridgewater College

Master Plan

Our 1989 Master Plan and subsequent site improvements for Bridgewater College have resulted in a nearly 100% gain in enrollment, from approximately 800 students to almost 1500 today. The Plan has also guided the placement and design of new residence halls, a new science center, entrance gates, plazas and planting. One of the most significant projects was the replanting of the central campus space, The Mall, with over 225 Sugar Maples and White Ash.

Our most recent completed projects are Bowman Plaza, connecting athletic facilities to the main campus, with brick paving, shade trees, benches and Eagle Terrace, overlooking the football field and Stone Village, apartment-style housing, that offers students a new residential option on campus.
