Video: 2018 CANstruction

Every year, BCWH participates in CANstruction, a nonprofit organization that supplies cans of food for local food banks. This year marked the 20th Design and Build Competition to benefit FeedMore in an effort to raise awareness for the cause to fight hunger. Through a great, collaborative effort with the BCWH and DMWPV structural engineering staff, we constructed a 5,185 can, 8 ft tall, Winnie the Pooh in 4.5 hours! This was the largest CANstruction sculpture we’ve undertaken to date! We love helping our community and very proud that we were able to donate so many cans of food to FeedMore. A huge shout out to the many firms who donated funds to purchase all of our canned food. Please watch the video below to see how we constructed Pooh!
