Charles joined BCWH in 1994 and has been a Principal since 2012.  He is actively involved in all aspects of the project design process, from the initial meeting to post-occupancy evaluation.  He has focused his 20-year career on exceptional design and planning for academic facilities and his portfolio of work includes higher education, K-12 and civic projects.  Charles has focused the majority of his work on new, modernization, addition, reconstruction and adaptive re-use of existing facilities.  Professional collaboration, innovative project delivery and an attention to detail are the qualities that define Charles’ work.  He is engaged at the professional, community and civic level and is active on several boards.  He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the Clemson University.
