VCU 2020 Masterplan wins a SCUP "Excellence in Planning" Award

VCU 2020, a masterplan for Virginia Commonwealth University, has earned an award for "Excellence in Planning for an Established Campus" from the Society for College and University Planning and the American Institute of Archiects/Committee on Architecture for Education.  The success of the plan, for both the Monroe Park and MCV Campuses, is best illustrated by more than $1 billion invested in new projects and renovations that have added 2.4 million gross square feet to campus.  BCWH collaborated on the plan with Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas + Company, Smith & McClain Architects, and Michael Dennis & Associates.
