BCWH Wins Two Interior Design Awards
At the recent 2009 Interior Design Excellence Awards (jointly sponsored by the ASID Virginia and IIDA Virginia/West Virginia Chapters),  BCWH Architects was given two first place awards for the New Rockbridge County Courthouse and Harvie Elementary School in Henrico County.

The judges commented on the attention to detail and the great presentation format of Harvie Elementary School and they commented on the rich surfaces and the appeal of the wood tones in Rockbridge County Courthouse. 

This is the second award for the Courthouse. It recently won the Valley Conservation Council's Better Models for Development Award.

This is the third award for Harvie Elementary School. It was also awarded an AIA Richmond Merit Award and a Virginia School Boards Association Excellence in Design Award.
